Abortion. By us. For us.

WHO?

WHW is a feminist non-profit organization.
We work worldwide to make abortion medicines easier to get.

We’re activists.
We’re connectors.
We’re here to change how abortion care works.

WHAT?

We help people get abortions.
Simple as that.

We make it safe.
We make it accessible.
We make it ours.

Because abortion belongs to the people who need it.

HOW?

1. We run telehealth online care

You can request abortion medicines online, get them by mail, and ask questions anytime.
It’s safe, it works, and it puts you in control.

Over the years, we’ve answered over a million emails, in many languages. More than 150,000 people got abortion medicines with our help.

2. We build networks

We connect activists, accompaniers, and people on the ground for better access.

Like Abortion Without Borders in Europe
the MAMA Network in Africa.
and SASS in the U.S.

3. We offer tools, products and care that actually work

We design abortion care around real life, not theory.

That means better medicines, better systems, and digital tools that get people what they need, when they need it.

4. We’re changing the whole game

Abortion doesn’t have to be complicated, scary, or rare.

We’re making it simple.
We’re making it friendly.
We’re making it accessible to everyone.

WHY?

Abortion with medicines (mifepristone + misoprostol) changed everything. You can have a safe, self-managed, effective abortion at home,  even where access is blocked or the law is against you.

Demedicalizing, decriminalizing and destigmatizing abortion are acts of resistance.

The 4 REs: The Revolution in Abortion Care

Abortion is ours. Our knowledge. Our care. Our revolution.

  1. We Rebuild Systems
We’re not here to just fix broken laws or systems. We build new ones, one abortion at a time, through feminist care and collective action.
  2. We Remake Access
We make access happen - through our own medicines, people, and smart tools.
  3. We Reclaim Abortion
We recognize abortion as common, liberating, and part of everyday life.
  4. We Reintegrate Care
Care doesn’t belong only in institutions. It lives in communities, in friendships, in everyday support.

Women Help Women recognizes that the policing of our bodies constitutes a moral injustice, and that our work to reduce reproductive oppression is intricately linked with work that is done to eradicate racism, colonization, capitalism, sexism, heterosexism, cissexism, and other inequities. In particular, we know that transsexual, transgender, intersex and gender non-binary people also experience pregnancy and need abortion care, and we work to ensure that our activism and services are gender-inclusive. We strive to provide a respectful and responsive environment to every person, including every trans- or non-binary person who contacts us.
